The Moon is a goddess, mate to the Sun.  And we the Dothraki ride on grain waves and the oceans of grass of the Dothraki sea, upon the child of their making.  But there are places where we do not ride; places of illness, of sickness and poison.  These are the black salt seas, which no man nor beast may drink of and live. Where no horse may swim. These places where no Dothraki has gone for a thousand years.

But upon this dirt, this land, we ride and we conquer.  As the Stallion conquers the mare, so do we, the Dothraki conquer lesser folk that reside upon all lands, all the dirt that crumbles under our horses hooves.

And I shall go where no Khal has gone before.

I shall take my horde of ten-thousand strong, I shall take my Khalasar West to where the world ends and ride wooden horses across the black salt water, as no Khal has done before.  I will kill the men in iron suits and tear down their stone houses.  I will rape their women, take their children as slaves, and bring their broken gods back to Vaes Dothrak.

This I vow, I Drogo, son of Bharbo.  I swear before the Mother of Mountains as the stars look down in witness.

As the stars look down in witness!
